The HURT FOUNDATION is a non-profit, non-government organisation constituted under Public Trust Act, in 1992. It is dedicated to fight violations of human rights and to promote human values, which are fast eroding due to many reasons. The Foundation has enlisted the services of eminent jurists, sociologists, social reformers, academicians and welfare organisations to build public opinion and to fight violations of human rights.
There are innumerable human rights violations such as terrorism, inhuman laws, absence of judicial remedies, atrocities committed by custodians of law, foul prison condition, etc. Other than these, there are several rampant human rights violations to be found in transport, unchecked pollution, inadequate safety measures and monopolistic trade practices.
An organisation cannot single handedly fight all these violations. But we can definitely do our bit to alleviate the abysmal conditions.
We are committed to deal with human rights violations and we solicit your support and participation to help us in our goals.
