Founding Member, Hurt Foundation

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, with its profound preamble, recognizes the indispensable role of education in fostering respect for human rights and freedoms. It is a torch that guides us towards a world where the dignity of every individual is acknowledged and upheld. Through our relentless efforts in “teaching and education,” we have strived to be the catalysts for change, the mentors for those eager to understand the very essence of what it means to be human.

As we move forward, let us continue to be the voices that echo the principles enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Let our endeavors be driven by the belief that through education, we can transform societies and shape a future where human rights are not just words on paper, but living realities for all.

Message from Late Hon’ble Justice Hosbet Suresh

Honorary President, Hurt Foundation

“The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, in its Preamble urges every individual and every organ of society, (keeping the Declaration in mind) to strive by “teaching and education to promote respect for these rights, and freedoms” for that is the only way for achieving effective recognition of human rights for all. HURT Foundation is doing this, “teaching and education” human rights, for the last 18 years, for those who are eager to know the basics of human rights. That is the essence of this awareness programme objective is to make them Human Rights Defamers.

Not that every individual has to raise his voice against human rights violations, which are prevalent on a large scale, but he should always take a stand in solidarity and say “No, Never” to any such violations to anyone, anywhere. I wish HURT Foundation success in this venture.”
